Syntax
... col IS [NOT] NULL ...
Effect
This expression is true if the value of col is (not) the null value . If this expression is used, the SELECT statement bypasses SAP buffering .
Note
All other relational expressions of a WHERE condition are unknown if a participating column contains the null value.
