Independent Data Reference
Data reference to an anonymous data object . Instanciating a data object with CREATE DATA produces an independent data reference. Copies of an independent data reference that are created by assignments between data reference variables or by using the statement GET REFERENCE are also independent. An independent data reference keeps an anonymous data object "alive" and cannot become invalid. See also dependent data reference .
