SAP Workflow email reminders
Send email reminders to users who have not read their work items
SAP has provided a program that can be setup as a background job to check all work items and send email (outlook) reminders to all users who have got work items which they have not read yet. This will only run once for each work items so will not keep sending endless emails to user.

In the latest version of SAP there is also another way to set this up using transaction SWNCONFIG, basic steps required to set this up:
• Copy category
• Setup delivery schedule
• Create new message template
• Got Subscription basic data to assign delivery schedule to category
• Schedule program SWN_SELSEN. Also use program SWN_SELSEN_TEST to check if everything is setup correctly.
