Configuring your java development platform

Although i have used eclipse for the screen shots below configuring both the SAP Netweaver developers studio and Eclipse is basically the same.

Step 1 – Set window layout (working perspective) Window-> Open Perspective -> Java Browsing.


Step 2 – Set additional views(Navigator & Console) Window -> Show View -> Navigator & Window -> Show View -> Console


Step 3 – Remove un-wanted views Remove the following views: Projects, Packages, types, Members
